Our Mission

Empowering Communities for Change

Reclaim & Rebuild was founded by Sandra, a Registered General Nurse (RGN) and Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMNH), whose decades of service across acute emergency and mental health care shaped a career defined by compassion, resilience, and deep human understanding.

Alongside clinical practice, Sandra built and ran a successful aesthetics clinic, blending healthcare with a holistic approach to wellbeing, confidence, and self-worth.

Her vision is also ancestral.

Born into a strong West Indian family from St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, Sandra carries forward a lineage shaped by strength, sacrifice, and spiritual endurance. Reclaim & Rebuild is her response to that inheritance a responsibility to honour what was carried through the Windrush journey and what was fractured in its aftermath.

The Future

A World Where Communities Thrive Together

The Empire Windrush did not only transport people. It carried cosmologies ways of knowing, being, and belonging. In the process of survival, much of this was reshaped, silenced, or left behind.

Reclaim & Rebuild exists to recover that lost architecture. This is a space for restoration of identity, reconnection to heritage, and rebuilding of community systems that honour both ancestral intelligence and contemporary reality.

We are not only remembering history.
We are reactivating it.

Together, we make a difference by rebuilding what has been damaged and reclaiming what has been lost. Through unity, determination, and shared effort, we can restore communities, revive opportunities, and create a stronger future for everyone. Rebuilding is not only about repairing physical spaces but also about renewing hope, trust, and confidence. Reclaiming means taking back our sense of purpose, dignity, and potential. When individuals come together with a common vision, challenges become opportunities for growth, and lasting change becomes possible. Together, we can rebuild, reclaim, and move forward toward a brighter and more resilient tomorrow.
